Lightbox is an event venue launching next-generation corporate experiences in purpose-built spaces. Joining as the first hire and later serving as CEO, the role spanned every stage of company-building from initial build-out through growth and long-term development.
My responsibilities covered every element of the business: development, operations, finance, and team leadership. Over the course of the tenure, Lightbox grew from a blank slate to a team of fifteen, with consistent year-over-year revenue growth of ~30%, 100 + events annually, and a client roster ranging from emerging brands to Fortune 50 companies.
When COVID collapsed the in-person events market, the business was safeguarded through government funding, full employee retention, and a pivot towards new distanced consumer experience formats. Lightbox continues to operate today, with my ongoing advisory involvement supporting the team on strategy and key initiatives.
